Lucy Strange and Chris Tuthill are competing this week in the ISU Adult International Championships in Oberstdorf, Germany. This was a planned event for the Gold level Ice Dancers in 2022, plans were put on hold when Chris had a heart attack here at the ice rink and nearly died.
Chris and Lucy have gone through extensive training over the last couple of years to get to a point where they are ready for the 3 minute Ice Dance routine full of difficult steps, turns, spins and lifts. Chris went through a Cardiac Physiotherapist to gain back his strength and fitness.
The Ice Dancers are taught by Vindico Arena coach Lucine.
